Garden of Export Delights

‘Garden of Export Delights’ is a ‘garden’ with small quilts on a clothesline and ‘flowers’ made
of bottle caps, tea bag strings, and beads. Marks made by needles, threads and knots give the sewing a rougher and "unfinished" look, in contrast to the intricate and meticulous handiwork that traditionally constitutes the"feminine" crafts exported to the Western consumer.
