I have always been transfixed by images of my parents, especially by those taken before they were married. Knowing that they had what Indians refer to as a 'love marriage,' I looked through the pictures and imagined their story. This piece, my first experimental video, creates a story from those photos. Since several negatives were missing, and I was shooting copies of copies, I felt justified in imagining moments that may never have existed.
