Through blurred landscapes, I explore the frenetic movement of people and commodities. Using tourism as a metaphor for globalization, I used my own travel footage from Europe, the Caribbean and the U.S. and their disorienting and fragmented landscapes to disrupt some of the fantasies of "escape." The video is part of an installation and plays silent and on a 2' monitor inside a shrine made of quilted teabags and spices.
