What is justice in our broken world? A curse. Come help us curse fascism, colonialism, the Border, the American Dream, white chefs of "ethnic cuisine," haters, killers of hope, and more at a launch party for the AALR BOOK of CURSES, a hybrid book art project--literature meets magic meets social justice.
Join us for readings of curses by issue contributors Regie Cabico and Swati Khurana, in the flesh, and Rajiv Mohabir, appearing by seance (Skype), followed by a convo about the issue's development by AALR editors Mimi Khúc + Lawrence-Minh Bùi Davis. Share your own curse, and purchase a copy of the BOOK of CURSES, or enter a door raffle for a chance to win a free copy.
